Future Pathways Privacy Notice

Pre-launch review notice: This operational draft must receive final organisational and Malaysian legal review before public production launch. Its privacy-by-design protections are already built into V1.1.

1. Why we collect information

Future Pathways collects limited information to create your free FPOS member record, understand the pathways you wish to explore, contact you according to your choices, support manual pathway assistance and maintain reliable consent and audit records.

2. What we collect in V0.1

• Name, mobile number and optional email;
• Country, state or region, optional city, age group and preferred language;
• Your current stage, selected pathway interests and optional pathway note;
• Optional OneCerID claim, recorded as unverified;
• Parent or guardian details when required for a minor;
• Consent decisions and the registration source or referral codes used for this contact.

3. What we do not request in V0.1

We do not request your NRIC or passport image, bank details, full date of birth, full home address, password, OneCerID credential, DNA, biometric data or academic certificate image through this registration form.

4. Source, referral and contribution

A source or referral record explains how a particular contact reached Future Pathways. It does not give an affiliate, institution, partner or person ownership of you or your membership. Future opportunities require their own attribution and consent decisions.

5. Sharing

Registration does not give blanket permission to share your personal information with schools, employers, merchants or other providers. Before case-specific external sharing, Future Pathways must obtain an appropriate additional authorization for that purpose.

6. Contact and updates

You choose whether Future Pathways may contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email. General marketing or programme updates are optional and separate from the basic registration.

7. Access, correction and withdrawal

You may ask to correct your information, change contact preferences or withdraw from participation. Some minimal records may need to remain for security, audit, dispute or lawful retention purposes and should be restricted or anonymised where appropriate.

8. OneCerID

OneCerID is optional and separate from the FPOS ID. In V0.1, any OneCerID entered is only a self-declared, unverified claim. Future Pathways does not collect your OneCerID password, passkey or private key.
